So good its a crime

September is just around the corner and not only is the weather getting a bit cooler, the perfect excuse to stay in and curl up with a book, it’s also crime thriller season.  And so there are going to be lots of crime thriller related posts on our blog this month to celebrate the most popular genre in publishing.

Specsavers Crime Thriller AwardsWe will be introducing you to the long list of new crime thriller titles and author debuts that we will be adding to our library catalogue, as well as sharing some of our old favourites.  We also have ‘The Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards’ which incorporates the ‘Crime Writers Association Dagger Awards’ to look forward to, crowning the very best in crime thriller fiction and drama.  You can read the shortlisted titles or watch the crime thriller season on ITV3 and vote for your favourite TV detective.

We have some copies of the official tie-in magazine to give away, so why don’t you pop into your local library and pick up a free copy – but you better hurry as supplies are limited!
