National Crime Writing Week

National Crime Writing Week 13th-19th June 2011, and all this week we are going to be posting on our blog the wide variety of events that will be taking place in South Ayrshire Libraries.  There is something for everyone to enjoy; book groups, author talks, an old Ayr crime walk, and murder mystery nights.  We really hope you can join us for a week of crime related thrills.

Book Group Social Evening

Read any book in the series by Scottish Crime writer Alex Gray and join in our evening discussion.

Alex Gray is often hailed as Glasgow’s answer to Ian Rankin.  With eight crime novels already published and her two main characters, Detective Chief Inspector Lorimer and psychologist Solomon Brightman proving so popular, her books are rapidly gaining a huge fan base.
