Barassie Nursery and Monkton Primary Troon Library trip

Barassie Nursery had a great adventure visiting Troon Library last month.  The children all met at Barassie Station and  travelled to Troon by train.  They thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the library where they had stories and did lots of drawing and colouring in. The library staff read the books which were nominated for the Scottish Book Awards – Solomon Crocodile, The Day Louis Got Eaten and Jack and the FlumFlum Tree.  Everyone had great time!

The library also had a visit from Monkton Primary, which unfortunately we didn’t manage to get any photographs of this time.  The children had some Christmas stories and read books on volcanoes, the topic they are currently working on in class.  They then all got to have fun at the swings at the beach before heading back to school.
