It’s National Poetry Day today

The theme for this year is ‘Remember’ so there’s lots of scope for reading, creating and generally celebrating poetry. Why not take a look at some of our poetry books for inspiration. You can also keep a track of everything that’s going on by following the hashtag #nationalpoetryday on Twitter.

Our Cross Stitch Challenge a poem by Irene McGinness

Lynn the librarian at Dundonald Library has inspired one of the members of her sew, knit and natter group to write this lovely poem.
