    This is a very poignant poem which hits home to many. I have taken a copy of your poem which I hope you do not mind. Thank you for remembering ALL that fight in ALL wars. You appear to understand about people.

    This is a very poignant poem. Yes many people did not understand the affect it had on the ones that returned from the war. As you stated ( They did not return as the same man ). Thank you for mentioning that. I have now placed a copy of this poem beside my grandfather – I feel that this poem is in honour to him.
