Health Information Buddy

KEY AIM:

To raise awareness amongst support groups and community groups of how libraries can support health and wellbeing. This project will run between November 2014 and March 2015 with 2 posts available in each local authority area: East, North and South Ayrshire being recruited.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To scope local support groups and community groups to target and to feedback to the Project Team, and to plan sessions in conjunction with Project Team.
  • To undertake awareness raising sessions to highlight services on offer from Library Service within chosen local authority area.
    •  Each Buddy to deliver 6 sessions to support groups or community groups throughout duration of the project to raise awareness of library services amongst these groups.
  • To report on sessions to Project Team and participate in the final evaluation process.
