Bookbug Sessions

Catch the reading bug at your library!

Bookbug Sessions are free, fun and friendly events for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their families to enjoy together.

Each session lasts around 30 minutes and includes songs, stories and rhymes. The sessions take place in a very relaxed environment and are a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your little one. They also have lots of benefits for your child, such as building up their confidence and social skills, and will give their speech and language development a real boost!

Bookbug’s Reading Challenge

Pick up a Bookbug Library Challenge collector card from your local library. Collect a stamp every time you borrow books on your baby or toddler’s library card and after 4 visits you can collect a free colourful certificate.  Each certificate is designed by a children’s book illustrator and will build into a lovely memento of your child’s exploration of books.  Keep visiting the library to collect them all!
